The Barra Family first planted their vineyards in 1955 and began making wine in 1957. Before organic practices were defined, Charlie Barra farmed organically. His vineyards from the very beginning were farmed in harmony with nature and without impact. The wines are a fantastic bargain: elegant, restrained and yet capture the exuberant nature of California.
